About

PRP Therapy

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) therapy involves drawing a small amount of the patient's own blood, extracting the platelet-rich plasma from it, and injecting it into areas such as the knee, elbow, or shoulder joints, as well as the skin or scalp. This treatment harnesses the natural components found in the patient's own blood to support the body's tissue maintenance and repair processes. As PRP therapy falls under the category of regenerative medicine, our clinic has undergone review by a Certified Committee for Regenerative Medicine and submitted the required Regenerative Medicine Provision Plan to Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare prior to offering this treatment.
PRP Therapy's Benefits
01
No Hospitalization or Surgery Required
An approach to various conditions such as joint pain, skin wrinkles, and hair loss may be expected.

Since PRP therapy uses the patient's own blood, the procedure involves only a blood draw and injection — no surgery or hospital stay is required.
02
Potential for Lasting Effects
PRP therapy places greater emphasis on sustained effects rather than immediate results. As an approach that utilizes the body's own repair functions, effects may last approximately 2 months to about 1 year after treatment in some cases. The potential to reduce the burden of repeated treatment visits is also considered one of its features.

The degree of effects and duration may vary between individuals.
03
Safety Considerations
Since the treatment uses the patient's own blood, the risk of allergic reactions or similar side effects is considered relatively low.

Our clinic has submitted a Regenerative Medicine Provision Plan and a Specified Cell Processing Manufacturing Notification to the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.
