【Treatment Overview】
This is a form of cancer immunotherapy that works by taking the patient's own immune cells, such as NK cells and αβ T cells, activating and expanding them outside the body, then returning them through an IV infusion. It can also be used alongside standard treatments like chemotherapy and radiation as one of the supportive treatment options. This treatment is provided in accordance with Japan's Act on the Safety of Regenerative Medicine (Notification Numbers: PC3250228 / PC3250227).
【Treatment Duration & Frequency】
Each session takes about 1 hour. The number of sessions and how often they're spaced out will be decided by your physician based on your diagnosis.
Temporary sensations of warmth or fatigue may rarely be experienced; these are generally mild and tend to resolve within 1–2 days.
【Key Risks & Side Effects】
You might experience some pain or swelling at the injection site, but this usually settles down within a few days. In rare cases, patients may notice a mild fever-like feeling or fatigue, though these symptoms tend to be minor and typically resolve within a day or two.
